Potty Training Gone Wrong
Let me start off by saying this is NOT a success story. Nor will you find helpful advice, because nothing has worked for me. I have two toddlers ages 2.5 and 3.5. They are talking, familiar with the potty, can dress themselves for the most part and can even tell me they have to go Potty! However, the potty has become this horrible inconvience in their heads. To my kids going to the potty means they have to stop having fun to go and they would rather per their pants then get up and go. I have tried everything from reward charts, instant rewards, cool new underwear, insisting only babies wear diapers. They hge even been around other kids their age who are potty trained, but don't feel they need to do it. I've tried to keep the experience positive and enjoyable, but they have banded against me.
