Potty Training Gone Wrong

Let me start off by saying this is NOT a success story. Nor will you find helpful advice, because nothing has worked for me.
I have two toddlers ages 2.5 and 3.5. They are talking, familiar with the potty, can dress themselves for the most part and can even tell me they have to go Potty!  However, the potty has become this horrible inconvience in their heads. To my kids going to the potty means they have to stop having fun to go and they would rather per their pants then get up and go. I have tried everything from reward charts, instant rewards, cool new underwear, insisting only babies wear diapers. They hge even been around other kids their age who are potty trained, but don't feel they need to do it. I've tried to keep the experience positive and enjoyable, but they have banded against me.

We started last week. No luck, but I read of several similar experiences where they kept the diapers of and the kids got tired of peeing themselves. Unfortunately, we still had diapers and those sneaky littles of mine found them!  They negotiated to use the remaining 11 diapers and THEN go on the potty. They are currently wearing the last two and my anxiety is kicking in. Will they hold up their end? Am I really negotiating with toddlers? This may not work, but I'm putting my foot down. No.more.diapers!

Like so said this is not a success story, but it's just the beginning. Maybe next week we'll see a success. Come back for a potty time update. Share with me what worked for you! My strong willed children will not prevail! Our house will be diaper free. (Please, please, please!)
